Phoenix, AZ – Music Producer/Radio Show Host/DJ Akeru announces a strategic partnership giving an opportunity to unsigned independent artists and producers. The agreement with XStream Records, Mike Bennett Production and TheOrchard.com, a subdivision of Sony Music Entertainment, will give unsigned/indie artists and producers an avenue to one of the largest distribution networks in the industry.

 

The compilation series will combine the work of unsigned/indie artists and producers with other artists and producers under Mike Bennett Productions. Distribution of the compilations will be managed by Sony Music Entertainment’s Subsidiary, The Orchard.

About Akeru

 

Akeru, an American electronic producer, broke into the dance music scene in 2011 as a co-writer for the track "Won't Forget" featured in the movie "Freelancers" staring 50cent and Robert De Niro. In 2014, Akeru launched his Dj Set/Radio Series, "The Open Door," introducing his listeners to many unknown and well-known producers and DJ’s across many subgenres of Electronic Dance Music. Before turning his musical interests to electronic music, Akeru began at a young age playing a wide variety of instruments. His first venture into live performance began in a Rock, Electronic Hip-Hop group as its DJ, which then led him to begin producing electronic music in 2010.
